One more thing

One more thing

I really miss Steve Jobs if for no other reason than Steve was all about the unexpected. There was nothing more epic than a Steve Jobs keynote. Steve taught us to expect the unexpected. As the years have passed of Tim Cook Apple keynotes, I still long to hear, “one more thing…” from Steve.
Wonder is a powerful thing. Expecting something more is coming. If you are still here on this earth, it’s because you have at least one more thing left to contribute.
Recently, I sat down to watch E.T. for the first time in a long time. I remember watching this movie as a five-year-old, and I could not imagine it not be possible. Watching as a 39-year-old, I can’t imagine it is possible. I miss that kid! Life has a way of killing the wonder. The good news is we can find it again. The even better news is that Steve Jobs and Jonny Ive aren’t the only ones capable of creating things that change the world. We all do; it’s why we are here.
One more thing ....
What made a Steve Jobs keynote so epic is that what followed the words “one more thing” seemed impossible to create, yet Steve knew how to get a team of people working to make the impossible possible. Steve was not driven by generating revenue. As he said, “Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful – that’s what matters to me.” Tim Cook has even used the “One more thing…” moment and it’s just not the same.
At some point, our “one more thing” will become our last thing. So be sure everything you invest your life in, will be worth being your last because one day it will be.
What is “One More Thing” that you can bring to your world today???
