Terry Weaver is a dynamic, experienced communicator who doesn’t just deliver a keynote—he delivers a spark.
For over 30 years, Terry has helped audiences get unstuck, think bigger, and finally move their ideas into action. Whether he’s speaking to entrepreneurs, creatives, students, or corporate leaders, Terry’s talks are rooted in one thing: mobilizing people to build the THING they were made for.

Your audience won’t just be inspired—they’ll be equipped. Every talk includes actionable steps your people can start using right away to build what matters most.

This isn’t just inspiration—it’s transformation in real time.
Terry Weaver knows the goal isn’t to fill seats—it’s to spark something real in the people who are sitting there.
For more than three decades, he’s taken the stage in conference rooms, convention centers, college campuses, arenas, and auditoriums across the country and beyond. His style is engaging, practical, and personal—combining story, humor, and strategy to create moments that move people.
The best feedback doesn’t come at the end of the event—it comes mid-session when someone texts the planner:
“This is exactly what we needed.”
Based on the African proverb, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together,” this keynote unpacks how real leadership—and long-term impact—only happens in community. Terry explores what it means to survive and thrive by walking with the right people.
Terry ends by getting your team behind the “Rhino Principal” and how great teams travel at an unstoppable pace together, even when limited vision keeps the final goal from being clear. Unstoppable teams are a force to be reckoned with.
Terry is known for helping leaders draw maps. Terry talks about the famous “lost weekend” on September 26, 1953 when Walt Disney realized to raise the funds to create Disneyland he couldn’t just have the ideas in his head.
Walt enlisted the help of his friend and former employee Herb Ryman to draw a map and just 21 months later that idea went from an idea in Walt’s head to the most remarkable Theme Park ever created.
Having clarity around not just the direction you want to go but a clear destination helps leaders not get stopped by the obstacles and see the opportunity. Ideas only in our heads don’t change the world. Ideas that become blueprints and blueprints that get built do. Your audience will leave with a clear destination and map!
We’ve all been told, You have to play the hand you’re dealt. Not if your playing go fish. So many leaders are losing at the game of life because of two reasons.
One, they are playing the wrong game. You can never win playing someone else’s game. The best way to play the game you want to win is if you’re the one hosting the game. You get to set the table. or…
Two, they refuse to Go All in on themselves. They never bet on themselves. Always playing it safe. The moment you trade your limitations for an audacious belief…the game changes!
Based on his book, Making Elephants Fly: How to get Your dreams off the Ground. Everyone dreams, few dare to wake up and make them real. He discusses How Downsizing Your dreams to fit the plans that other people have for your life is keeping you from living the life you’ve only dreamed about. Take a look at Elephants, Domestication doesn’t work, they make horrible pets, and so do unrealized dreams.
Success is simple. You don’t need a “formula” or five-step process from some “expert.” Success happens when you want it bad enough to actually do something about it. Discover that something has to be different. Set a goal. Make a plan. Get to the hard work adding value to other people. Success rarely is found in being the one that is following a path or plan; it’s found in being the one that blazes the trail and creates the plan.
Most people aren’t successful because they don’t want to be. Success happens when we create the life we want.
Just like at the end of every chapter in the book every attendee will be challenged: To Reflect. To look deep within on what they really really want. To Ask. To send a message or schedule a time with the people that help them achieve their dreams. To Do. To take action now rather than face regret later.
Even if you choose one of the above talks Terry will get on the phone with you and help craft a talk that helps the attendees at your event with the specific needs and mission you have for your event. We will work with you and your team to get a message that’s right on target and will leave you ready to reach your goals and have your attendees raving. We will work to not just fit your them but your misssion!

Having recently witnessed a glimpse at the process of storyboarding that Pixar uses to tell those stories that tug on our heartstrings firsthand, I was blown away by how much time goes into the story before you even begin to tell it. Pixar normally spends 3-5 years getting the story right and then another two or so animating it. Most of us try to animate our life without having any idea what story we are going to tell.
