Instead of Giving up, do This…

It’s not always easy. Sometimes it is really difficult. Some days you just want to quit. If leadership, creating, and innovating was easy everyone would be doing it.

The clearer your vision is and the more you are able to know your purpose the more you are able to lean into that and keep on going when you want to quit

When you want to quit today Consider doing these FIVE simple things:

1. Rest.

Stop pushing through. Go watch a movie, take a nap, go to lunch with a friend. There’s not a prize box for the boys and girls that work themselves sick.

2. Reset.

Cntl + Alt + Delete isn’t just for computers. you need to power down. Often overwhelm is what is creating the lack of clarity and getting through requires a reboot.

3. Restore.

Fellas Self-care isn’t just for the ladies. If massages are your thing do that. For me, I need to find a body of water stat. Some days it’s blank page and latte, ok for me that’s most days.

4. Reflect.

Stop and be grateful. Is it really that bad…chances are it’s not. Look back at all that you have accomplished and write it down. A change of perspective will be super helpful.

5. Remember.

Ask yourself what really matters and what the real goal is. Nothing else matters except what REALLY matters.

Success isn’t keeping up with the Joneses, it’s not caring what the Jones family is up to because you are focused on your purpose and you have set your own rules for success.

Don’t quit we need you and your thing!

Pure Imagination….and Some Thoughts on Wonka

“…Simply look around and view itAnything you want to, do itWant to change the world? There’s nothing to it There is no life I knowTo compare with pure imaginationLiving there, you’ll be freeIf you truly wish to be.” I finally managed to sneak away and catch the new prequel, Wonka. Stop Elf-ing Around & Get Crystal Clear About What You Want

Every year thousands of children climb on Santa’s lap and clearly articulate what they want from Santa. Every year at my friend Logan’s Christmas party for last almost 10 years I’ve invited Santa to sit on my lap. Partly as a joke but partly as a reminder that even Santa knows what he wants. Santa really outdid himself this year and pitched a little fit

No One Is A Solo Artist

97. That’s how many people are on the road with Lauren Daigle on the Kaladiascope Tour. My friend Leigh Holt and Lauren’s manager told me this after the show last night as the production was being torn down above our heads in Knoxville, TN, and heading to Greenville, SC. That’s how many people it takes to support a solo artist on tour. That doesn’t include

Audacious Ambition

And the one thing I’ve noticed is that those who succeed possess
