Rebellion of Dreamers & Doers

It’s been exactly seven years since we hosted the very first The Thing LIVE in Orlando, FL. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how this event has grown and evolved, becoming a significant gathering for entrepreneurs, creators, and changemakers. I must admit, some people find the name “The Thing” a little quirky, but the reality is that all of us have something, a unique calling or passion, that we wish to bring into the world.

At The Thing Conference, we celebrate this uniqueness and embrace the power of community. We believe that every individual’s “Thing” has the potential to make a significant impact on the world. Just like the Star Wars Rebellion or the Rebel Alliance, we come together as a group of rebels with a shared belief that change is not only possible but necessary.

It’s a movement built on the idea of creating something better, just like the stories of hope, rebellion, and resistance in Star Wars. We’ve seen time and again that when people who believe they can make a difference come together, they can achieve extraordinary things. That’s the power of community and collaboration.

Throughout my journey as an entrepreneur and thought leader, I’ve witnessed the magic that happens when individuals come together to support and uplift one another. The Thing Conference is not just about providing information or inspiration; it’s about creating a space for authentic conversations, interactions, and collaborations that lead to transformative actions.

So, if you’re looking to join the Rebellion of Dreamers and doers, I invite you to be a part of The Thing Orlando. Together, we’ll tap into our true potential, turn our ideas into reality, and create a lasting impact on the world. Your “Thing” is just what someone out there is waiting for, and by showing up and over-delivering on your passion, you can light up the faces of those you serve.

Believe in your dreams, and join us at The Thing Conference, where dreams become tangible results. As Fall Out Boy sang, “Light ’em up” and let’s make history together!
Experience the magic with us in Orlando from November 3rd to 5th at the Wyndham Disney Springs!

You can’t turn me off.  I don’t have a switch. You might be able to turn me up louder but you can’t turn me off. Being me has ideas show up when

Pure Imagination….and Some Thoughts on Wonka

Stop Elf-ing Around & Get Crystal Clear About What You Want

Every year thousands of children climb on Santa’s lap and clearly articulate what they want from Santa. Every year at my friend Logan’s Christmas party for last almost 10 years I’ve invited Santa to sit on my lap. Partly as a joke but partly as a reminder that even Santa knows what he wants. Santa really outdid himself this year and pitched a little fit

No One Is A Solo Artist

97. That’s how many people are on the road with Lauren Daigle on the Kaladiascope Tour. My friend Leigh Holt and Lauren’s manager told me this after the show last night as the production was being torn down above our heads in Knoxville, TN, and heading to Greenville, SC. That’s how many people it takes to support a solo artist on tour. That doesn’t include
